Hi,
As promised here a short teaser for a couple of widgets I have programmed for SCOM 2012. Due to Microsoft NDA restricts I cannot give too much details on it. But as soon I am getting green light I will blog on it.
What you will have to do is in a short way:
1) make a WPF solution that will be running in the native SCOM console
2) make a Silverlight solution that will run in the webconsole and link some of the file of the WPF project.
3) Generate the correct data bindings.
4) Make a project for the template and widget wizard. So the end user can select and personalize the widget .
5) compile the solution to SCOM 2012 to an management pack bundle. This bundle will contain all the widget dll’s and MP logic and will automatically transfer it to the consoles!! Great new feature of scom 2012.
So now you can breathe again and start saying woaaaooowww . (that is what it did when I succeeded to build my first widget
